Sorry everyone about my rage the past couple of days. :) I felt like you all deserve a good explanation. Ah, well, simply put, I'm having some issues finding a job and my parents are just pushing me to get one. I don't have a problem with that, I want one. I've figured some stuff out and might work with my friend Travis. That way we can carpool, that'll make some fast cash. Anyways, though, I've been neglecting my blog for a while so I would figure I would talk about myself again and what I'm going through.
Well, right now, my biggest obstacle is the RPG Maker Competition! Yep, I'm making another game everybody! It's a sci-fi shooter game, the sequel to the last one I made, Vulcan. Vulcan 2.0 comes equipped with completely redone gameplay, very much advanced graphics, and intelligent AI, with creative game modes, all playable in multiplayer against your Facebook friends, or against random opponents, depending on how you set up the game. It's fast paced action allows for a lot more interesting playability, aside from the enemies have become much smarter. It's all in a wrapping infinite space map and the enemies comes from all angles. As of right now there are going to be 6 game modes:
-Survival (where you're pitted against infinite infantry, in multiplayer you can player friendly survival where you all survive against the AI or total survival which has a limit of 32 players and it's a giant battle royale),
-Base Defense (a wave based tower defense sort of game style, in multiplayer, you all have to defend your own bases from either eachother, non-team based AI, or team based AI, which enemies that fight for you, with a limit of four players),
-Race (race against the AI by following checkpoints randomly set up in the map, in multiplayer you race against eachother with a limit of four players),
-CTF - Capture the Flag(defend your flag by putting down defenses and go capture the AI opponents flag. In multiplayer it works the same way, but with players, with a limit of 16 players, 8 per team)
-King( in this mode you're pitted against 7 AI and you must stay in the marked landmark on your map longer than the others. In multiplayer it works pretty much the same, but with other players with a limit of 8 players)
Multiplayer only game modes so far:
Voltball(pass around a ball with your team mates to try to get it into the opponents goal. You can defend your goal with turrets and defenses to keep opponents from making it. It's up to you and your team mates to make an intelligent play to keep the opponents away)
As for Vulcan, that's about all I have so far. ^w^ If you like the idea, please comment! I'm going to be putting much more work into this as I go! Thanks a lot to all of my supporters!
